Important Council and Chapter Update
Posted on: 09/15/24
This Story Expires on: 10/15/24

Here are a few updates from your national MOAA Council and Chapter Affairs Team:

New Chapter Dues Payment Portal Coming Soon

Glimmernet, the current vendor that some chapters use to collect online dues, remains down. We are moving forward with a new vendor, Cheddar Up, and will begin beta-testing soon. We are excited for the functionality and options available through the new platform and look forward to rolling it out as a resource for chapters. Each interested chapter will be able to collect online dues from members with MOAA national covering the transactional fees.  Our September roundtable will now feature this new offering.

Our IT team also continues to work with vendors to get the CM and NRT back to full functionality. We will continue to provide updates as this work progresses.

Final Push for Summer Advocacy in Action

September 6 is the final day of our Summer Advocacy in Action campaign. Please urge your members to participate! As a reminder, the focus for this year’s campaign is on a targeted pay raise for junior enlisted personnel and continued efforts towards restoring Basic Allowance for Housing back to 100%. Additionally, we will continue to advocate for expanded concurrent receipt through the Richard Star Act despite challenges with Congress.
