Please  note due to the Coronavirus Pandemic our planned events are tentative and subject to change.

Welcome.  Our Chapter was founded in 1963 and consists of approximately 70 members residing in the Anderson/Clemson/Greenville area of South Carolina.  Our organizational meetings are scheduled every other month alternating between sites in Anderson and Clemson.   The Chapter is an affiliate of the national Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).  MOAA is the nation's largest and most influential association of Military Officers.  It is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization dedicated to speaking for a strong national defense and representing the interests of the military community. Our Chapter joins this national effort and also supports  the South Carolina military and its  military veterans and their families.  We are proud and grateful that the Richard M. Campbell Veterans' Nursing Home and the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans' Cemetery are a part of our upstate landscape.

The Piedmont Chapter’s area historically was defined as the ZIP codes encompassing Anderson, Belton, Central, Clemson, Honea Path, Iva, LaFrance, Liberty, Norris, Pendleton, Sandy Springs, Six Mile, Starr and Williamston.  The Piedmont Chapter now encompasses its traditional zip codes and the Greater Greenville area as well as Anderson County, Pickens County, and portions of Abbeville County.  Membership in the Chapter is extended to all commissioned officers, warrant officers and noncommissioned officers of the eight (8) uniformed services, National Guard or Researve. The eight uniformed services are indicated by their insignia at the top of this page and are USA, USMC, USN, USAF, USSF, USCG, NOAA, and the USPHS. Surviving spouses of members are eligible and encouraged to be members.
