Chapter members Art Wallace and Mike Coleman participated in the Last Patrol Ceremony for Lonnie Tinsley. Lonnie was born on August 8, 1937, in Clinton, SC. After growing up in Clinton, Lonnie joined the Navy at a young age. After boot camp, his first ship was the Charles H Roan out of Newport, RI. Since then, Lonnie, a Cold War & Vietnam Era veteran, served on ships that ported on the east coast and the west coast deploying to Hong Kong, Japan, and other pacific posts. He was also stationed in Gaeta, Italy and Athens, Greece.
