We honored Army veteran James Maffett. James was drafted into the Army on January 21st, 1959. James was sent to Fort Knox for training and then on to Korea until January 12th, 1961. As his military commitment had been fulfilled, he was then discharged from the Army. However, that was not the end of his Army career. On July 19th, 1963, James voluntarily reenlisted. He was then stationed in Vietnam and Germany. The honor ceremony was conducted at his home. Star Fort members LTC Joe Roberts and LCDR Dennis Turner assisted in conducting the Honor Ceremony
