Wreaths Across America 2021


WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA! - Surviving Spouses are continuing their project to support Wreaths Across America.  They will collect your pocket change to support the M. J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.  More information will be available at each of our MOAA dinners. If everyone donates a dollar at each meeting, that would be two wreaths per meeting and for two dollars we can get four per meeting!!

Wreaths Across America (WAA) had its Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) in Greenwood on Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Greenwood County Veterans Center.  This event was sponsored by the Mount Ariel Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, in collaboration with the Veterans Center.  This one-day event is part of the MEE national tour and was free. Several Star Fort members attend this excellent display. The driver and his wife were invited and attended our meeting that evening. They provided a great talk about Wreaths Across America on how it started and how fast it is growing. Then on December 18 members attended the Wreath Laying Ceremony and after help put out wreaths!
