One of the Star Fort members was the guest speaker at the Memorial Day Ceremony in the Greenwood Veterans Center. The Index-Journal ran a great article with pictures from this event. He joined the Marines during the Korean War and talked about Memorial Days when he was growing up and his service in Vietnam.

LTC Como was also featured in an article in Leatherneck magazine. The article was on the M1 Pack Howitzer which describe how this was used in Vietnam and it had a picture of LTC Como in the article.
