Keowee Chapter

Welcome to the Military Officer Association of America (MOAA) Keowee Chapter … Serving Oconee and Pickens County South Carolina since 03 December 1975.

Our Chapter currently consists of approximately 40 members residing in the Golden Corner / Upstate area of South Carolina including all of Oconee, Pickens Counties, and portions of Anderson County.

We have dinner meetings on the second Tuesday of March, September, and December and we have other functions during the late spring and summer to include college/minor league baseball game outings and our annual wine tasting event at Keowee Key in Salem, SC.  See our Calendar of Events for more details.

MOAA Keowee Chapter is an affiliate of the MOAA National and the MOAA SC Council.  MOAA is the nation's largest and most influential association of Military Officers.  It is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization dedicated to speaking for a strong national defense and representing the interests of the military community.

In addition to supporting MOAA National and SC Council efforts to support the South Carolina military and its military veterans and their families.  We proudly support the Clemson University Student Veterans Association, Veterans Alliance Fellowship Scholarship for officers attending graduate school, and Purple Heart Homes Golden Corner Chapter who help make life easier for Service Connected Disabled Veterans by modifying, adapting, or building on existing homes to ensure greater mobility and comfort.

Like all MOAA Chapter’s, MOAA Keowee offers membership to all current, former, and retired commissioned officers and warrant officers of the eight (8) uniformed services, National Guard or Reserve.  In addition, we offer free membership to ALL surviving spouses of MOAA members.

If you desire more information or would like to join our Chapter, please us at moaakeowee@gmail.com.
