Star Fort Chapter member, Lt. Col. Joe Como, was honored at the Veterans BBQ held by State Representative John R. McCravy III. Joe is a Vietnam Veteran and he served as the commanding officer of the 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines at the time of the Battle of Dai Do, which lasted from May 1-3, 1968.
